Samsung Galaxy S7 is unveiled at MWC, Here are the Features and Photos

Today's big news is out and the most anticipated flagship of Samsung is unveiled at Mobile World Congress. Can you guess the flagship? Oh yes you guess it right, its Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.


There is not a big difference in design from the predecessor  Galaxy S6 but a drop in Camera from 16MP to 12MP in noticeable. As Galaxy S6 was having 16MP camera but Galaxy S7's camera is dropped to 12MP. Sleek design with non-removeable battery and water-resistant features.

Loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Samsung Galaxy S7 is still slight better than Galaxy S6. With 5.1 inch display of Galaxy S7 and 5.6 inch display Galaxy S7 Edge, it will be loved by the end-users.

Downgrade in Camera is remarkable and Samsung says 12MP camera in Galaxy S7 will surpass the Galaxy S6 with 16MP camera in picture and video quality. As it comes with wide pixels which absorbs more light and produce a stunning picture quality.

The best new assets of both this S7 and the larger-screen S7 Edge are the newly reinstated microSD card slot, and water-resistant coating.

There is a new feature introduced in Galaxy S7 (though its not new) is called always on display. Samsung says:

Samsung says the always-on display, which we've seen on Microsoft (née Nokia) Lumia phones for years, uses only 1 percent of the phone's battery, and could even stretch out battery life if it keeps you from unlocking the phone (which uses more energy) just to check the time.

There's "instant" autofocus that was actually very fast in my demo. That means you'll be able to capture more spontaneous moments because you aren't waiting for your phone to focus. Just like the iPhone 6S, the phone's screen will flash when you take a selfie, a makeshift flash for that front-facing camera to illuminate otherwise inky-black scenes.
