Apple is indeed a smartphone giant and Apple iPhone is the success story of Apple. At the end of  Q1 2015, Apple's earnings report shocked the world as it came out to be the huge earnings for any company in a single quarter , in history.

Q1 '15 becomes the most successful quarter for Apple regarding earnings and iPhone sales worldwide. Apples New bigger screen iPhone 6 Plus is the reason. Also Apple sold more iPhones in China than any other country. Total Sales of iPhone unit in Q1 '2015 were 74.47 million units. Apple's total net profit for Q1 '2015 is $ 18 Billion.

The first generation of Apple's iPhone was presented in 2007, bringing new and inventive gimmicks, for example, a multi-touch interface, to a more extensive audience. Since its market presentation, Apple has released new and improved iPhone model every year. The models that emulated the first generation are the iPhone 3g (July 2008), the iPhone 3GS (June 2009), the iPhone 4 (June 2010), the iPhone 4S (October 2011), the iPhone 5 (September 2012), the iPhone 5c/ 5s (September 2013) and the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus(September 2014). All iPhone models run Apple's own particular mobile operating framework IOS.

This statistic shows Apple iPhone sales worldwide from the third quarter of 2007 to the company's more recent financial quarter. In the second quarter of 2011, 18.65 million iPhones were sold worldwide. In the 2011 fiscal year, Apple sold 72 million iPhones. Now in just a single first quarter of 2015, Apple sold 74.47 million iPhones. That's HUGE!!!
