Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is a cheap fitness wearable for great efficiency and use. Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 is expected to go on for preorders on 10th june. Now it seems that Mi Band 2 is going to be in stores before that expected date.
There are some pictures shared by the Xiaomi CEO. which give some overview about th gadget. While not the highest quality, the images show a wristband with a black silicone strap, and what looks to be a removable core module (so you can swap the bands for ones in different colors), just like the existing Mi Band. However, this time there’s a digital display on the front, showing steps taken, distance travelled, the time, and what’s either battery life or percentage achieved of a daily goal. Like the Mi Band 1S, there is a heart rate sensor on the rear.
Mi Band 2 will be loaded with the following features.
- - Fitness, heart rate, and sleep tracker
- - Scratch-resistant OLED display that shows time, step count, heart rate with a wrist lift or a button tap
- - Power-efficient ADI accelerometer and optical heart rate sensor
- - Upgraded pedometer algorithm
- - Hypoallergenic, medical-grade silicone band
- - 20-day battery
- - IP67 water-resistant
- - Anodized 0.05mm ultra-thin button rests flush against the display
- - 2nd-gen Bluetooth 4.0
- - Customized nudge alerts to keep you moving.
Before this, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun showed off a prototype wearable that looked very similar to the newly pictured model. He didn’t name it as the Mi Band 2, in the same way we don’t know the official name of the model seen above, but a sequel to the Mi Band is considered overdue.
